Hello. I'm Tony Thompson - welcome to Silver Healer Productions.

This is my music website. I was originally a gigging bass guitarist, but in recent years I have worked as:

*a producer, recording and producing acts;

*a programmer - a specialist in MIDI and digital audio setups, editing and designing new sounds;

*a remixer, creating new, different versions of previously recorded songs;

*a sound engineer, simply recording live performances;

*a lecturer in Studio Recording Techniques;

*a composer of library and commercial music tracks, including for video and multimedia use.

Currently I am working on my own material and mixes for various clients.

I'm also now playing bass with Portsmouth-based band Us - gigging soon.

I've long had an interest in Spirituality and Complementary Therapies and I'm also a working Reiki Master practitioner. A major current project of mine is an album of music dedicated to the healing process in Reiki, designed to aid relaxation and receptiveness over a standard hour's treatment session. When finished this will be available as both digital download and CD and will be of use to both other practitioners and anyone looking for music for deep meditation and healing.

You can find me also on MySpace. These tracks call on my love of jazz, funk, electronic sounds and ambient and spacey music. What genre(s) does it fall into?. It depends which download sites you are using! I seem to find myself falling into the Electronica bag if all else fails. Listen and buy if you like!

I recently (March 2010) finished mixing and mastering an album of Indian classical fusion music for singer Nadeem Khan and flute player Katrina Fountain. The album is now available on CD Baby here. I have also mixed dance tracks in the last 12 months. I could mix tracks for you too! Contact me for rates.

There are synth sounds as Sysex files and MIDI files and some drum beats in MIDI File format. All of this is my work, for free download.
